Koregaon Park Prostitution Scandal: Pune Police Rescue Two Thai Women

Koregaon Park, 17th February 2024: A clandestine prostitution operation has been exposed in a Koregaon Park flat, an upscale locality in Pune. The illegal business, operating under the façade of a spa, involved the trafficking of two young women from Thailand who were engaged in prostitution. Pune police have taken action, detaining the two women from Thailand, and registering a case against the alleged mastermind.

Police Constable Raisa Baig initiated the complaint, leading to the registration of a case against the woman orchestrating the illegal activities.

The revelation came to light when the police received information about the illicit activities transpiring in a flat within Koregaon Park. Acting promptly, a raid was conducted at the location, exposing the accused woman’s involvement in the procurement of prostitution from the victims. The accused, a Thai national, had leased a flat in a society within Koregaon Park.

It was revealed that the woman enticed two young women from Thailand by promising them employment in a spa. However, their real intent was to engage them in prostitution.
