Pune: PCMC Demolishes Tilted Building In Wakad

Wakad, 14th February 2024: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) took swift action today, demolishing an under-construction building in Wakad that had tilted last night.

Officials revealed that the builder had exceeded the construction limits set by the PCMC. The incident occurred in Durga Colony around 10 pm yesterday, prompting concerned local residents to notify the fire brigade and police.

Utilizing machinery, officials worked diligently to stabilize the structure, initiating the demolition process around noon today.

The residents are demanding action against the builder and concerned PCMC officials.
