Pune: Sharad Mohol Murder Case Mastermind Ganesh Marne Arrested By Crime Branch

Pune, 31st January 2024: The sleuths from the Pune Police Crime Branch have nabbed goon Ganesh Marne, the prime accused in Sharad Mohol murder case, who had been evading arrest for several days. The arrest took place in Sangamner while he was traveling in a rented car on Nashik Road, marking a breakthrough in the ongoing investigation. The Crime Branch team was led by ACP Sunil Tambe.

Ganesh Marne, along with three other individuals allegedly involved in the crime, were handcuffed by the Pune Police during a meticulously planned operation. The authorities had been tirelessly pursuing Marne, who had managed to remain elusive since the murder of gangster Mohol.

The Pune Police Crime Branch executed the arrest following a series of leads and intelligence gathered during the investigation.

Mohol was shot dead on 5th January near his house in Sutardara area of Kothrud, Pune.
