Pimpri, 21st January 2024: As the Maratha Kranti Morcha gains momentum with Manoj Jarange-Patil and thousands of activists marching towards Mumbai, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Pimpri Chinchwad City president Sachin Chikhale has made a demand for the declaration of a holiday for all Government and Private Primary Schools on Wednesday (24th).

In a letter addressed to the PCMC Commissioner, Sachin Chikhale highlighted the magnitude of the Maratha Kranti Morcha, emphasizing that the storm of demands, including Maratha reservation, is set to hit Mumbai and will pass through Pimpri Chinchwad cities on Wednesday.

The route includes Sangvi Phata, Jagtap Dairy Chowk, Kalewadi Phata, Chaphekar Chowk via Dange Chowk, Chinchwad Station Chowk, and ultimately reaching Bhakti Shakti Samuh Shilp via Akurdi. The large-scale participation in the march raises concerns about potential disruptions, leading Sachin Chikhale to advocate for a precautionary measure.

Expressing the need for smooth execution of the foot march and avoiding any inconvenience, Chikhale urged the PCMC administration and police administration to coordinate with the Maratha Kranti Morcha organizers. To mitigate potential issues with school transport and ensure the safety of students, he specifically requested the declaration of a holiday for all government and private primary schools on Wednesday.
