Pune: Teacher Dead, Students Injured in Bus Collision with Tempo

Akluj (Solapur district), 21st December 2023: An accident occurred at Vatpali in Malshiras taluka of Solapur district involving a bus carrying students from Shri Shivaji Vidyalaya at Bawda in Indapur taluka of Pune district. The students had embarked on an educational trip to Ganpati Pule on 19th December, and accident happened today morning during their return journey.

The collision involved a State Transport (ST) bus and a tempo, resulting in a fatal outcome. The bus was carrying 4 teachers, 40 students and driver. The preliminary information suggests that the accident left other teachers and six students injured.

The injured are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Akluj.
