Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Police Return Stolen Valuables Worth Rs 2 Crores To Rightful Owners
Pimpri-Chinchwad, 20th December 2023: In a significant achievement, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police has successfully returned missing and stolen goods valued at Rs two crores to their rightful owners.
The recovered items include 48 tola gold ornaments worth Rs 21 lakhs, two high-value four-wheelers totaling 25 lakhs, 22 two-wheelers valued at Rs 8 lakhs, and 69 mobile phones amounting to Rs 14 lakhs 88 thousand.
The initiative saw the return of 125 stolen items, including mobile phones, two-wheelers, four-wheelers, gold ornaments, and laptops, back to their original owners. Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey personally oversaw the handover of the recovered property to the rightful owners at ceremony held at the police headquarters.
