Kia Unveils Enhanced Sonet Facelift: Booking Soon Open

16th December 2023: Kia Motors has recently introduced the latest iteration of its Kia Sonet in the Indian market, showcasing a revamped front profile and a host of impressive features. The official commencement of bookings for the new generation Kia Sonet facelift is imminent. Positioned in the premium and luxury subcompact SUV segment, the Sonet facelift is set to open bookings officially on December 20, 2023. Notably, some dealerships in the Indian market are already unofficially accepting bookings, requiring a token amount of Rs 25,000, accessible through online platforms or nearby dealerships.

For an expedited delivery, customers can utilize the special K code during the booking process. The front of the Sonet facelift boasts a redesigned profile with a new grille, aggressive LED DRL unit, sequential indicators, LED headlight unit, newly designed skid plate, air dam, and fog lights. The side profile features fresh alloy wheel designs, while the rear showcases a connected LED tail light unit, stop lamps, and silver skid plates at the top and bottom. Internally, the cabin retains its layout but receives upgraded leather seats, contributing to a more premium and luxurious feel.

Enhancing the driving experience, the Sonet incorporates a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment systems, Apple CarPlay connectivity, dual-zone climate control, air purifier, over 70 connected car tech features, front ventilated seats, an electronic sunroof with voice assist, and wireless mobile charging. Safety features include Level One ADAS technology, offering collision avoidance, lane departure warning, lane return, lane keeping, driver attention warning, and a blind-spot monitor system. Standard safety elements comprise six airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring, and parking sensors both at the front and rear.

Under the hood, the Sonet retains its current engine options. Anticipated to start at around Rs 8 lakh, the Kia Sonet is scheduled for launch in January 2024, with deliveries following shortly. Once released, it will compete with rivals such as the Tata Nexon facelift, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300 Facelift in the Indian market.
