Pune: 1.14 Lakh Citizens In Rural Areas Participate In ‘Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’

Pune, 15th December 2023: Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which was started to reach the grassroots citizens under the Central Government scheme, is getting good response in the rural areas of the district and 1 lakh 14 thousand citizens participated in the program held in 248 Gram Panchayats. Citizens were also given the benefit of various schemes on this occasion.

Through Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, information about various schemes of the government is being given through film strips and pamphlets. Registration of beneficiaries is also being done by interacting with the citizens. 79 Ayushman cards, 70 land record documents, and 28 attachments of ‘Har Ghar Jal’ were given through the yatra. Apart from this, 68 ODF Toilets, 75 Soil Health Card, 120 Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana Gas, 423 Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, 258 Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, 74 Ayushman Card etc.

Under the health camp, 20 thousand 142 citizens were examined, 5 thousand 370 were examined for tuberculosis, 3 thousand 66 patients were examined. 1 thousand 832 athletes, 6 thousand 626 students, 1 thousand 448 local artists and 17 thousand 434 women were given incentive awards.

Drone demonstrations are being organized for farmers at various places. Talked to 116 farmers about natural farming through the yatra. Toilet certificates were given to 11 beneficiaries. At this time 45 thousand 697 citizens took a resolution for a developed India.

The Pune Zilla Parishad and District Administration have appealed that a maximum number of citizens should participate in the Yatra and benefit from the schemes of the Central Government.
