Pune: HR Manager, Supervisor And Contractor Booked For Assaulting Employee

Chakan, 13th December 2023: In a shocking incident of workplace violence, a company employee was allegedly assaulted by the Human Resources (HR) manager and accomplices in Khalumbre.

The 23-year-old employee has filed a complaint with the Mhalunge MIDC police station, Pimpri Chinchwad Police, prompting an investigation into the brutal attack.

The incident occurred on Monday at a Micro Turners-IV Company in Khalumbre. Police have booked HR manager Himanshu, along with other individuals including Ankit, contractor Amol Mugale, supervisor Yadav, and workers Amit and two others.

The complainant alleged that he was not only verbally abused but also physically attacked by the accused, who used wooden sticks and kicks during the assault. The severity of the attack resulted in injuries and his friends rushed him to a private hospital for treatment.

Police are further investigating the case.
