Pune: Man Loses Rs 35,000 In Robbery While Waiting For Bus At Kharadi Bypass

Viman Nagar, 10th December 2023: On the night of December 9th, Kishore Eknath Khandagale, a resident of Saswad, was robbed while he was on his way to his hometown Buldhana. The incident occurred at Kharadi Bypass Pune, near the Shell petrol pump.

According to the victim, four unknown individuals forcefully withdrew Rs 33,000 through an online app and an additional amount of Rs 2000 in cash. The perpetrators allegedly used threats and physical force against Kishore during the incident. The victim promptly reported the crime and filed a complaint against four unidentified individuals at the Pune Airport Police Station.

The case has been registered under the following sections of the Indian Penal Codes IPC 392 (Robbery), IPC 506 (Criminal Intimidation), and 34(Acts Done by Several Persons in Furtherance of Common Intention). Sub-Inspector BB Kakade of Pune Airport Police Station is conducting further investigation.
