Sangvi, 9th December 2023: A resident of Old Sangvi has fallen prey to an online scam, losing a staggering amount of Rs 1 crore. The three perpetrators, identified as Akanksha, Ram Sharma, and Rudra Pratap Singh, posed as employees of the company Investment India based in Jaipur.

The accused initiated contact with the victim, Ravindra Bhagat, using mobile numbers 80521 40219, 91185 08452, and 62623 23108. Under the guise of managing Bhagat’s Demat account, the perpetrators initially provided positive returns on his investment, gaining his complete trust.

Exploiting this trust, the accused enticed Bhagat to invest more by claiming to have taken a franchise of a company named IT Bucks (U.S.) for proprietary trading. They promised a lucrative 70% profit, reinforcing their assurances through repeated emails from the address [email protected].
