Chief Justice Dhananjaya Chandrachud to Visit Pune, Attend Graduation Ceremony and Yoga Institute Event
Pune, 7th December 2023: Chief Justice Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud is scheduled to visit Pune over the weekend, where he will partake in the 20th convocation ceremony of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) in Lavale and visit the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute in Lonavala. The Chief Justice, who hails from Kanhersar village in Khed taluka of Pune district, will also stay in Pune for a day during his visit.
Chief Justice Chandrachud will arrive in Mumbai from Delhi and subsequently travel to Pune.
The Chief Justice is set to spend a day in Pune, reflecting his connection to the region, particularly Kanhersar village in Khed taluka of Pune district. Notably, he possesses a big Wada in Kanhersar, adding a personal touch to his visit. In 2016, he visited Kanhersar for a special event and had the opportunity to explore his ancestral Wada during that time.
