Pune: 21-Year-Old Student Stabbed On Bakori Road In Wagholi, Succumbs To Injuries
Wagholi, 28th November 2023: A 21-year-old youth fell victim to a stabbing incident this evening on Bakori Road in Wagholi. Despite immediate admission to a nearby hospital, the young man’s life could not be saved.
The victim, a final-year BBA student at a college in Wagholi, resided in a hostel in Wagholi.
A police officer from Lonikand police station (Pune city police), “During the journey to the hospital, the injured youth disclosed to a witness the name of the alleged assailant and hinted at a motive related to a love affair with him, after which he lost consciousness. As investigations unfolded, initial indications suggest a possibility of the murder being linked to a homosexual relationship.”
A detailed description of the accused was provided by the injured to the accompanying witness, leading to the dispatch of two police teams to locate the suspect. Authorities are optimistic about the imminent arrest of the accused.
