Pune, 27th November 2023: The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has scheduled the installation of girders on the Khopoli to Paliphata road at 33/800 on 28 November, necessitating the diversion of traffic along alternative routes.

Throughout this period, traffic traveling from Mumbai to Pune will be directed to deviate from the Mumbai channel of the high-speed route approximately 1 km before reaching the specified location. The diversion will lead the traffic towards Pune at a reduced speed. However, the flow of traffic from Pune to Mumbai will remain unaffected along this extensive stretch. Resumption of traffic from Mumbai to Pune is expected to commence from the Pune channel at 3 pm upon completion of the work.

In light of these diversions, the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has urged motorists utilizing the Mumbai-Pune Expressway to seek assistance by contacting the control room on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway at 9822498224 or 9833498334 belonging to the Highway Police Department in case of any issues encountered during this period.
