#DhamalGalli garners more than 10,000 crowd in Pune since last 6 Sundays
Pune- June 16, 2017: Lokmat, Maharashtra & Goa’s Number 1 newspaper organized #Dhamal Galli where family and friends came on a common platform for fun and fitness. The event witnessed more than 10000 people, who participated in various fun and fitness activities from 23rd April till11th June, 2017 on every Sunday morning at 4 different locations in Pune which were Market Yard, Kharadi, Sinhagad Road and Kothrud. Conceptualized with an aim to get the Pune residents out on the streets every Sunday to enjoy theirholidays and spend quality time with their families amidst learning and masti, the event was well accepted by the people and even had a great unique opportunity of interacting with renowned celebrities.
This year the activities focused mainly on fitness and enjoyment. Activities like cycling, skating, flash Mob, Tug of War, Street plays kids’ creative corner, Zumba, Aerobics, Art and Crafts etc. were the major attraction. The objective was to ensure people relax, rejuvenate and have fun for a couple of hours on the streets of the city.
With more and more people joining the crowd, this year celebrities were a part of #Dhamaal Galli. Seeking an advantage of a huge gathering at #Dhamaal Galli, film directors and producers chose. #Dhamaal Galli as a platform to promote their movies. Sairat fame actor Akash Thosar and Sanskuti Balgude were present on this platform to promote his newly released “Friendship Unlimited” (FU) movie on 4th June at Kothrud. The team of anupcoming movie , a sweet love story “Tujha Tu, Majha Mi”, Neha Mahajan and Lalit Prabhakar were also present at kothrud #Dhamaal Galli to interact with the crowd, share their experiences and connect with their fans at this event.
