Pune: Korean Citizen Survives Firing In Aundh, Assailant Yet To Be Identified

Aundh, 7th November 2023: In a shocking incident, the head of the research and development department of an international firm, narrowly escaped an attempted shooting in the upscale Alloma County area on Tuesday morning.

Fortunately, the victim, a Korean national, emerged unscathed as the bullet missed its mark during the incident that took place between 6:00 and 6:30 AM.

After getting the information, the Chatushringi police station dispatched a team to the spot, initiating an immediate search for the perpetrator. At the site, investigators discovered an empty cartridge, prompting a comprehensive examination by the Ballistic Department of the Forensic Laboratory.

Experts from the laboratory assessed the spot and are working to determine the firearm used in the attempted shooting. The identity and motive of the assailant remain unknown.

Chatushringi police are pursuing leads and conducting a thorough investigation into the attempted shooting.
