Pune: Special Electoral Roll Revision Campaign Launched In Bhosari Vidhan Sabha Constituency
Bhosari, 1st November 2023: In alignment with the directives from the Election Commission of India and under the guidance of the District Collector, Pune, a special brief revision campaign for general voter registration has been initiated within the 207 Bhosari Vidhan Sabha Constituency.
The special brief revision program, conducted as part of the Electoral Roll Revision Program, commenced on October 27 and will continue until December 09, 2023. During this period, claims and objections, including applications for new voter registration, correction of voter list entries, and the removal of deceased voters, are being accepted.
As part of this program, citizens are encouraged to visit their respective polling stations in the 207 Bhosari Constituency on November 4 and 5, 2023 (Saturday and Sunday) and again on November 25 and 26, 2023 (Saturday and Sunday) to facilitate their voter registration or correction. The program will include the presence of Booth Level Officers (BLO) even on holidays, with a focus on registering a maximum number of new voters, including women, individuals with disabilities, the homeless, and voters from marginalized communities.
The Voter Registration Officer for the 207 Bhosari Vidhan Sabha Constituency appeals to citizens residing within the constituency to actively participate in these programs and make the most of the opportunities provided.
