Pune: Ravet Women’s Club conducted “Empower Her” Appreciation Program
Ravet, 1st November 2023: The Ravet Women’s Club, in its unyielding commitment to empowering local businesswomen and fostering women’s initiatives, with the club founder chairman Mrs. India Nirupama Mohanty, a remarkable Appreciation Program under the “Empower Her” initiative.
The event took place on 29th Oct 2023 at Ravet area and brought together influential dignitaries and prominent personalities from various fields to celebrate and encourage the achievements of local women entrepreneurs.
The Chief Guest for the event was Moreshwar Bhau Bhnode, a distinguished figure in the PCMC region. Bhnode graciously bestowed awards upon the deserving winners and awardees, applauding their outstanding contributions to the community. He was joined by an array of esteemed guests, including Nirupama Mohanty, Sangita Tarade, Director of Apla Awaj Apla Sakhi; Soumya Mohapatro, Founder Chairperson of Spread Happiness; Dr. Yogita Rohakale, Celebrity Guest and Sylphina Mrs. India; Hemangi, a Healthcare Activist; and the Ravet Police Team.
PSI Ravindra Panhale from Ravet Police Station delivered an insightful presentation on women’s security, highlighting the proactive measures taken by the Maharashtra police to ensure the safety of women in the region. He stressed the importance of collaborative efforts between law enforcement and the community.
Soumya, Founder Chairperson of Spread Happiness, captivated the audience with an inspiring message about helping socio-economically disadvantaged individuals in society, focusing on their health and education empowerment. His appeal resonated with the attendees, reinforcing the club’s commitment to social betterment.
Notably, the Ravet Women’s Club honored the citizens and housing societies of Ravet with the prestigious Ganapati Pandal Delight Award. This recognition was presented by the distinguished guests as a token of appreciation for their outstanding contributions to the community and their commitment to promoting unity and cultural harmony. In the event Ganapati Pandal Delight Award winner awarded to GK Arise Housing Society in Housing Society category and Komal Agarwal in individual category followed by 1st runner up to Celestial City phase-1 & Varsha satav kate and 2nd runner up went to Palm Rose Ganesh Mandal & Shubhangi jamkhandi.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Nirupama Mohanty, Chairperson of the Ravet Women’s Club. She expressed her gratitude to all the participants and guests for making this initiative a tremendous success. She emphasized the importance of supporting and uplifting women entrepreneurs in the local community. She also shares her gratitude all her supporting organizing members: Nazla Mallahi, Dr. Shital Chavan, Mrunal Manbhekar, Rama Toro, Roopal Nema, Aarti Shinde and Deepa Shah. She also thanked to everyone for their presence and participation to make the event grand and successful.
