Pune: MahaRERA Allows Deregistration of A Project From Kalyaninagar, Applications For 63 Projects From City To Be Decided Soon

Pune 21st Oct 2023: The Maharashtra State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has allowed deregistration of 7 different projects from the state including one from Kalyaninagar area of Pune. The other six that were deregistered include, three from Mumbai, two from Thane and one from Sindhudurga. The applications from builders were accepted after they cited financial problems and poor response to the project as reasons for deregistration.

According to officials, MahaRERA has received applications for deregistration of 170 projects from the state including 63 projects from Pune. Many of these projects are stuck in legal disputes while sone builders have cited financial problems as reason. The authorities will hear the applications and accordingly a decision on whether to allow deregistration will be taken.

The builders that were responsible for seven projects from the state including one from Pune that were deregistered have been asked to not advertise or make sales in these properties.
