Pune; Fire At Furniture Shop In Wagholi, No Casualties Reported
Wagholi 11th Oct 2023: A fire was reported inside a furniture shop located at the Bakori road in Wagholi earlier today. The firefighting vehicles of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) were rushed to the spot and the fire was brought under control. No injuries or casualty was reported in the incident.

The prompt response and alertness of the fire brigade personnel averted a major accident as the LPG cylinders were present near the incident site. The shop had material such as Carpet, green grass Sofa, cushion etc. There was also a hotel running from here in which three LPG cylinders were kept. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the fire brigade personnel removed the cylinders from the shop to further avoid the spread of fire.
The fire brigade officials and the local police could not find the cause of the fire. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
