Pune: PMPML To Run Special Buses To MCA Stadium For World Cup Matches, Check Details

Pune 11th Oct 2023: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has decided to run special buses from three different locations of the city to Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) stadium in Gahunje for the ICC World Cup matches. A total of five world cup matches are scheduled to be held at the MCA stadium in Pune.

The PMPML officials have said that the buses will leave from Pune Municipal Corporation, Katraj and Nigdi Chowk on all five days when the matches are scheduled. The passengers will be charged Rs 100 fare for each passenger for one side journey from PMC and Katraj Bypass stops while Rs 50 per passenger will be charged from Nigdi Chowk to the stadium.

According to officials, a total of three buses are scheduled from Pune Municipal Corporation to the stadium on October 19, October 30, November 1 and November 8. The buses will leave from PMC at 11 am, 11:35 am and 12:05 pm. Similarly, two buses are arranged from Katraj Bypass and they will leave at 11am and 11:30 am. Two buses are arranged from Nigdi Tilak Chowk and they will leave for the stadium at 12 pm and 12:30 pm respectively.

Similar arrangement has been done on November 11 when three buses scheduled at 8:25 am, 8:50 am and 9:05 am will leave from Pune Municipal Corporation, two buses scheduled from Katraj Bypass at 8:15 am and 8:
35 am while two buses are scheduled from Nigdi Tilak Chowk at 8:30 am and 9am. The officials also said that additional buses will be arranged if the demand grows on all five days.

ICC World Cup Matches Scheduled at MCA, Pune :
October 19: India vs Bangladesh, 2 pm
October 30: Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka, 2 pm
November 1: New Zealand vs South Africa, 2 pm
November 8: England vs Netherlands, 2 pm
November 11: Australia vs Bangladesh, 10:30 am
