Pune Boy Studying At London Praised For Protecting Indian Flag During Pro-Khalistan Protest

Pune 6th Oct 2023: A boy from Pune Satyam Surana who is currently studying at the London School of Economics is being praised on social media platforms for protecting the Indian flag during the protest by pro-khalistani people outside the Indian High Commission in London on Monday. A former student of ILS Law College of Pune, Satyam has completed his B.A LLB from the city and moved to London for further studies.

The video of Satyam picking the national flag from ground during the protest has gone viral across platforms. “I had gone to the protest site and realised that it was a pro-khalistan protest outside theIndian High Commission office. The national flag was lying on the ground and people were walking over it. It was an insult to our national flag hence I picked it up and stayed back while looking at the entire protest” he told a media organisation.

“When I picked up our तिरंगा there, the only thing in my mind was मैं रहूँ या ना रहूँ भारत ये रहना चाहिए! ” he shared on X platform.
