Pune: Metro Construction Material Stolen From Shivajinagar, Case Registered
Pune 5th Oct 2023: In yet another incident of theft reported at the ongoing Metro construction site, a security guard posted at the metro site has lodged a complaint regarding a theft reported near the metro station. A case under relevant sections has been registered at Shivajinagar Police Station.
The complainant works as assistant admin (security) with Pune Metro and he has reported that the material worth Rs 24,000 has been stolen from below the Sant Tukaram Nagar Metro Station between September 18 to September 28. An unidentified person has been booked in the matter.
A case under section 379 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at the Pimpri Police Station. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
