Three Killed In Accident Near Khandala On Pune-Bengaluru Highway
Pune 14th Sept 2023: In a tragic accident reported near Khandala on Pune-Bengaluru highway, three people have lost their lives. The accident occured between the two tempo vehicles near Dhangarwadi village on the highway. The accident led to heavy traffic jams for sometime but the traffic police were rushed to the spot and the vehicular movement was normalised.
According to police, the deceased have been identified as Manjunath Yellappa Kavali, Anand Gurusiddh Gangai and Naikappa Satyappa Naykar, all residents of Belgaum. The accident was reported when a truck that broke down due to a problem was hit from behind by another truck after the driver failed to control the vehicle.
The truck was moving towards Bengaluru from Mumbai at the time of accident, said officials. The local police who rushed to the spot immediately after the incident removed the vehicles from the road to open it for vehicular movement.
