Pune : Woman Found Dead In Well In Nigdi, Further Probe Underway

Pune 8th Sept 2023: The fire brigade officials of Pimpri Chinchwad has retrieved a body of a woman from a well inside a well in Sainath Nagar area of Nigdi on Thursday. The body was handed over to police and was sent to postmortem for further investigation.

According to officials, the fire brigade team of Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) received a call at 6:11 am about a woman being spotted inside a well. The team was immidiately rushed to the spot and the officials retrieved a body of a woman identified as Satara Mujawar (45) from the well. The dead body was handed over to local police for further investigation in the matter and it was unclear whether the woman died by suicide, fell due to an accident or murdered during the initial probe.
