Pune: DCM Ajit Pawar Directs To Complete Work Of Lohegaon Sub District Hospital By January End Next Year
Pune 6th Sept 2023: The Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday instructed the authorities to complete the work of Lohegaon Sub District Hospital before January end next year. The Deputy Chief Minister held a review meeting at Mumbai today. The meeting was attended by MLA Sunil Tingare, Chief Secretary of Finance Department Nitin Kareer, Chief Secretary of Public Health Department Milind Mhaske, Chief Secretary of Deputy Chief Ministers Ashish Sharma, Chief Secretary of Planning Department Saurabh Vijay, and Chief Engineer of Pune Atul Chavan.
In view of providing healthcare facilities to the residents of Lohgaon, construction work for 100 beds Sub-District Hospital and residential facilities on 6 acres of land in Lohegaon is underway. According to officials, around 90% of the construction work has been already completed and the Deputy Chief Minister has instructed to complete the remaining work before January end next year.
Through this hospital, healthcare services will be provided to the residents of Lohegaon and the surrounding areas. The construction work includes building the hospital, providing necessary furnishings and amenities, medical equipment for patient care, health infrastructure, and ensuring the availability of essential human resources.
