Pune : Minor Boy Went To Practice Dhol-Tasha Abducted And Killed, Two Arrested
Pune 6th Sept 2023: In a shocking incident reported in Kondhwa on Saturday, a minor boy aged 16 years was abducted and killed. The police have detained two people in the matter and a case has been registered under relevant sections at Kondhwa Police Station.
According to police, the deceased had gone to practice Dhol Tasha with a friend when he was abducted by the accused and taken to Saswad where he was beaten to death. The incident came to light after the boy did not return home till late at night on Saturday and the family rushed to police to lodge a missing complaint. During the investigation, the police team revealed that the deceased had gone with his friend to practice Dhol Tasha.
The police traced the friend and found him injured at home. The investigation revealed that the deceased and his friend were abducted by a group from Kondhwa and they were taken to Saswad. The police team swiftly acted on the matter and two accused identified as Sairaj Lonkar (25) and Omkar Kapare (25) were arrested while 10 to 11 accused were booked. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
