Pune Zilla Parishad Gets Over 74,000 Job Applications For 1,000 Vacancies
Pune, 31st August 2023: The Pune Zilla Parishad (ZP) has witnessed an overwhelming response with 74,507 candidates submitting applications for 1,000 available posts. Alongside this surge in applications, the Zilla Parishad administration has confirmed that the online application process has generated a sum of Rs 6.66 crore 52 thousand.
The Pune Zilla Parishad embarked on a direct recruitment drive for 21 Group C category positions. Online applications were the chosen avenue for submissions. Rahul Gawde, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the General Administration Department at Zilla Parishad, said that the cumulative application process has resulted in a substantial revenue of Rs 6.66 crore 52 thousand.
This recruitment procedure is being facilitated through the “IBPS” private system. The application window extended from August 5 to August 25. Notably, the Arogya Sevak (Male) post has received the highest number of applications. With 124 positions available, this role attracted a remarkable 28,209 candidates.
The Arogya Paricharika (Arogya Sevak Women) post, boasting a total of 436 vacancies, experienced an enthusiastic response with 3,930 candidates submitting applications. The Contract Gram Sevak position, featuring 37 openings, garnered 4,575 applications, while the Arogya Sevak (Male) role received 2,898 applications for 128 openings.
For the Drug Manufacturing Officer position, attracting 5,573 candidates for 25 vacancies, and the Laboratory Technician role, gathering 1,405 applications for four positions, the application response remains robust.
The examination for these diverse Zilla Parishad positions is tentatively scheduled for conclusion by the end of September. Gawde further mentioned that the funds acquired through the application process will be disbursed to the company in adherence to the governmental regulations in place.
