Pune ZP School Teacher Mrunal Ganjale Wins Coveted National Teacher Award

Pune, 27th August 2023: The National Teacher Awards, presented by the Union Education Ministry, have been announced, with Mrunal Ganjale from a Pune Zilla Parishad School emerging as a recipient. This year’s awards in the state see a single teacher being honored, a departure from the norm of multiple awardees.

These awards, an annual recognition by the Union Education Ministry, applaud educators for their significant contributions to the field of education. The felicitation ceremony, typically held on National Teachers’ Day, will take place on September 5 at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi.

This year, a total of 50 teachers across the nation have been selected for this esteemed honor. Mrunal Ganjale, an educator at Adarsh Primary School in Pimpalgaon Mhalunge, situated in Ambegaon taluka of Pune district, is among the distinguished awardees.

This year’s awards stand out as a single teacher from the state is being celebrated at the national level, a departure from the customary acknowledgment of multiple educators.
