Pune : Bullet-Like Item Found Near KJ College Hostel In Bopdev Ghat, Probe On
Pune 26th August 2023: A bullet-like item was found near a hostel in the K J College of Engineering and Management Research premises located near Bopdev Ghat in the city on Saturday. This raised alarms as the girls and boys hostel of the college are located nearby the spot where the suspected bullet was found.
According to police, a furniture company’s employee had gone to deliver a bed to a customer in the area when he noticed a bullet-like item. The issue escalated further and the local police were immediately called to the spot. Along with police, the officials of the Anti-Terrorism Squad were also rushed to the spot. Officials from both teams failed to identify whether the bullet was original after which it was sent to the concerned officials for further investigation.
The police officials said that they are also investigating further to check if it was a bullet used in an air gun. When inquired further the college administration informed police that no clashes or fight was reported in the premises of college. During the primary investigation the police team did not find anything suspicious but they are investigating further to find more details on the matter.
