Pune : Pregnant Woman And Her Two Year Old Daughter Found Dead In Well
Pune 26th August 2023: In a tragic incident reported at a Lakdi village in Indapur Taluka, a pregnant woman and her two year old daughter were found dead inside a well. The deceased woman and her daughter had gone to wash clothes when the incident took place, said police.
According to the police officials of Walchandnagar Police Station, the incident was reported at around 3:30 pm on Friday. The well is located around 400 to 500 meter away from the deceased woman’s house. The police suspect that the woman and her daughter fell in the well while taking out water from it to wash clothes. However, the police team is yet to investigate more in the matter.
The woman was 2.5 month pregnant, said police. As the police team was updated about the incident, they immediately rushed to the spot and the woman and her daughter were taken out from the well but the doctors declared them dead.
