Pune 14th August 2023: Members of the Uddhav Balasahen Thackeray party on Monday held a protest at the Pune Metro Office located at the Civil Court Interchange Station demanding preference to the local youths from Pune and Maharashtra for jobs during the recruitments in Pune Metro. The city unit of the party demonstrated on Monday afternoon with these demands.

The party leaders claimed that the advertisements for the recruitment in the Pune Metro were published in other states instead of giving preference to the local youths from Maharashtra. They also threatened to launch a Shivsena style protest if the metro officials failed to give preference to local youths.
