Pune: Case Registered Against Two People And 150 Others For Abusing PM Modi In Public Rally

Pune 11th August 2023: The Pune City Police have booked two people and 100 to 150 others for allegedly abusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a public rally in the city. A case in this regard has been registered at Faraskhana Police Station against Sachin Bansode, president of Bharat Mukti Morcha and one Rohit Malappa in the matter.

According to the complaint lodged by the president of BJP’s Yuva Morcha Amit Kank, the accused allegedly abused Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a loudspeaker during a public rally organised in the city on August 7. It is also alleged that the accused also abused RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on a loudspeaker in the same rally.

According to police, the rally was organised to condemn the Manipur incident and protest against the Uniform Civil Code. A case in this regard has been registered under sections 143, 149, 504, 153 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC ) along with sections 37(1) (3), 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act .
