Body Of Missing Young Techie Found On Pune-Nashik Highway; Foul Play Suspected
Khed, 7th August 2023: A chilling discovery has been made in the ghats along the Pune-Nashik highway as the lifeless body of a young man has been found. Disturbingly, emerging details suggest the possibility of foul play leading to his demise.
Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased, identified as Sourabh Nandlal Patil, worked as a software engineer at an IT company in Hinjawadi. Patil, who had been missing since July 28, was found dead in the Khed ghat. As mystery enshrouds the circumstances of his death, the Khed police have initiated an FIR against an unidentified individual.
His relative, Sandip Sonawane, had lodged a missing person’s report at the Hinjawadi police station. However, Sourabh’s remains were discovered within the jurisdiction of the forest department at Sandbhorwadi, situated along the Pune-Nashik highway.
API Birudev Kabugade, acting on behalf of the government, lodged an official complaint.
According to police, Patil was employed by an IT company in Hinjawadi and had been unaccounted for over the course of a week. Despite exhaustive efforts by his family, his whereabouts remained elusive. Notably, Sourabh’s two-wheeler was located within the Holewadi area of Khed taluka, accompanied by the discovery of its key resting atop a well railing.
Ultimately, the grim revelation came to light as Sourabh’s decaying body was found in a field under the jurisdiction of the forest department in the old Khed ghat region. The Khed police are currently engaged in a comprehensive investigation.
