Integrated Cargo Terminal Inaugurated At Pune International Airport
Pune 5th August 2023: A new integrated Cargo terminal was inaugurated at the Pune International Airport in an event on Saturday. The new terminal that can accommodate a diverse range of goods will increase the capacity of handling of the airport.
The unveiling of this facility is a significant milestone in the city’s trade infrastructure, promising to bolster economic growth, enhance efficiency, and elevate the region’s prominence in the global trade landscape.
“The new Integrated Cargo Terminal has the annual capacity to handle 37000 MT of Domestic cargo and 7000 MT of International Cargo. Covering an area of 1.76 acres, the terminal has been designed to handle cargo operations efficiently. It can accommodate a diverse range of goods, from perishables to Auto Equipment and Medicines, enhancing the city’s import and export capabilities” said officials.
