Gang Forces 12-Year-Old to Consume Pigeon Excreta in Pune
Pune, 27th July 2023: A shocking incident unfolded in Santosh Nagar, Katraj, as a 12-year-old boy fell victim to a four-member gang’s brutal act of revenge. The gang accused the young boy of stealing a pigeon, leading to a horrifying ordeal that took place behind a local temple.
As per the complaint (490/23) filed by a 36-year-old resident, the heart-wrenching incident occurred on Tuesday around 6:30 pm. Armed with sharp weapons, the accused confronted the boy in Santosh Nagar, brandishing their weapons and threatening dire consequences for anyone who dared to intervene.
The gang proceeded to assault and abuse the young boy before taking him to Sai Apartment in Katraj. There, they subjected him to an unimaginably cruel act, forcing him to consume the excreta of the disputed pigeon. The terrified boy was warned against reporting the incident to the police, with the gang threatening him with dire consequences if he revealed their identities.
Later, the boy was released near a temple, where he bravely disclosed the heinous ordeal to his father. Outraged by the traumatic event, the father promptly registered a complaint with the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station.
Acting promptly, the police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the four individuals involved in this appalling crime. The case is now being investigated by API Varsha Tawde.
