Pune: Vishrantwadi Police Crack Down on Vehicle Vandalism, Parade Arrested Criminals

Pune, 27th July 2023: A series of vehicle vandalisms in Pune city have led to the arrest of the culprits by Vishrantwadi police. The criminals were targeting autorickshaws and two-wheelers in the Shanti Nagar area, with the intention of instilling fear among the residents.

 

Under the guidance of Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar, a concerted effort has been made to combat the escalating crime. The arrested criminals, who had been evading authorities, were successfully tracked down and apprehended by the police.

 

In a move to send a strong message against such criminal activities, the police conducted a public parade of the offenders in the very area they had attempted to terrorize. The parade aimed to put an end to their reign of terror and discourage others from engaging in similar acts.

 

The Pune police, led by Commissioner Ritesh Kumar, are determined to take all necessary legal measures to prevent a repeat of such incidents. Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DCP Shashikant Borate, ACP Arti Bansode, Sr PI Dattatray Bhapkar, PI Bhalchandra Dhavle, and the diligent efforts of API Ansar Shaikh, PSI Lahu Satpute, along with the officials and policemen of Vishrantwadi police station, played a crucial role in apprehending the culprits and ensuring the safety of the community.
