Consumers In Pune To Get New Electricity Connection In Just 24 Hours : MSEDCL
Pune 25th July 2023: The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution istribution Corporation Limited (MSEDCL) has announced that the consumers in Pune city will now get the new connection in just 24 hours while in rural parts of the city, the new connection will be provided within 48 hours. The Chief Engineer of Pune division Rajendra Pawar has instructed all the offices of the MSEDCL to follow this to ensure that the new consumers get the connections on priority.
The officials said that the consumers will just have to submit the required documents and pay necessary fees to get the new connection. Citizens can send their request for new connection via official website http://www.mahadiscom.in/ or through mobile application of MSEDCL.
“After submitting the application for a new electricity connection, the feasibility is examined by the technicians from the electricity distribution company at the proposed location of the connection. Following that, a quotation for the connection is prepared and provided to the concerned customers. Once the payment of the quotation amount is made, the customers are provided with the new electricity connection” MSEDCL officials said.
MSEDCL has expedited the process of providing new electricity connections in Pune division. According to officials, a total of 60,970 new electricity connections have been issued in the Pune region between April and June this year.
