Pune: 50 Establishments Checked, Fines Worth Rs 29k Recovered For Mosquito Breeding
Pune 22nd July 2023: The Pimpri Chichwad Municipal Corporation continues action against establishments responsible for mosquito breeding in the city as 50 more establishments were checked by the officials on Saturday and a fine of Rs 29,500 was recovered from those founding at fault. The PCMC officials from ‘C’ ward conducted a drive in Jadhavwadi Chikhali, Kudalwadi Nehru agar etc. areas today.
Earlier the civic body had appealed the concerned establishments and construction firms to take action on mosquito breeding spots. A special drive was also launched against the construction firms and notices were issued to the owners. The cases of dengue have increased in the last few days in both Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.
