‘Shasan Aplya Dari’ Program Postponed For Second Time In Pune Due To Heavy Rain Alert

Pune 21st July 2023: The district administration on Friday announced that the program organised under the state government’s initiative ‘Shasan Aplya Dari’ has been postponed. The program was scheduled on July 23 at Jejuri. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar were scheduled to attend the event in Pune.

The district collector office in an official statement said that the program has been postponed owing to heavy rain alert issued for the Pune district.

“IMD has issued Red Alert for the Pune district for Friday and Saturday and orange alert has been issued for the next three days. Due to this ‘Shasan Aplya Dari’ program scheduled at Jejuri on July 23 has been postponed. The decision has been taken in view of the heavy rain in ghat sections and alert issued for the next few days as the beneficiaries will also face difficulties to reach the spot” official statement issued by the Chief Minister Public Welfare Department stated.

This was the second time the program was postponed in Pune. Earlier the program was scheduled on July 13 and later it was postponed for July 23. The state government has been organising the program to launch this initiative at district level aith an aim to provide benefits of government schemes to the citizens.
