Heavy Rain In Ghat Sections Of Pune But Situation Under Control, Says District Administration
Pune, 20th July 2023: The rural areas of Pune especially those in ghat sections received heavy downpour in the last few hours. However, the situation is under control and the district administration is on alert, said officials. No waterlogging or untoward incident was reported in the Pune district.
According to officials, 350 mm rainfall has been reported in Lavasa while extremely heavy rain was reported in Tamhini Ghat, Bhambarde, Nive, Bhiuni and Warak villages in Mulshi.
Road connectivity between Dapsare and Ghol village in Velha was disrupted after a landslide. An ST bus was stuck due to this incident and the passengers were taken to safe location.
