Pune: Man Arrested For Allegedly Molesting Woman In Shivajinagar
Pune 11th July 2023: The Pune City Police have arrested a man for allegedly molesting a woman in the underpass near the Pune Municipal Corporation. The incident took place on July 2 when the victim woman was heading towards bus stop to catch a bus.
The accused took advantage of dark and allegedly molested the woman here. The police team after receiving the complaint, checked the CCTV footage of the spot to trace the accused and after a detailed investigation in the case the accused identified as Laxman Tukaram Ghode (45), a resident of Ramnagar, Warje Malwadi was arrested.
A case in this regard has been registered at Shivajinagar Police Station under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) following a complaint filed by the victim woman. Further investigation in the matter is underway.
