IT Engineers Get Civil Engineering Degree Certificates At SPPU Convocation, Students Struggle To Get Them Corrected

Pune 9th July 2023: In a shocking incident reported at a convocation of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), at least over 300 students of a reputed college of the city were distributed wrong degree certificates causing a major problem for them as they now have to struggle to get the certificates corrected.

According to officials, the students who had appeared for the Computer Science and IT BTech examinations were distributed Civil Engineering degree certificates at the recent convocation of SPPU. Many students who want to pursue further studies are now struggling to get their certificates corrected causing delay in their admissions.

According to reports, the issue happened because of the printing mistake in the certificates. The credentials on the degree certificates are verified with the students and college administration before they are printed hence college and university are now blaming each other for the issue.

Many students claimed that they were informed by the college administration that the mistake happened at university’s end and they have to apply for the correction. However, some of them are also informed that the correction process will take time and they will have to wait for some more days to get the new certificates.
