Pune: Burglars Break Wall Of Adjoining Office To Loot Bank In Pimpri Chinchwad, One Nabbed

Pune 8th July : The Pimpri Chinhwad Police have nabbed a burglar while he and his accomplice were trying to loot a bank in the Dange Chowk area by breaking the wall of adjoining office in the wee hours on Sunday. The accused failed to loot the bank as police marshals reached the spot after getting a call from a citizen.

According to police, the burglars broke open an advocate’s office adjoining to the Federal Bank located near Mayureshwar Temple in Dange Chowk area and they were planning to enter inside the bank from there by breaking the wall between the bank and office. However, a local security guard noticed them and called his owner and the owner dialed police helpline number ‘112’ for help.

Soon after this call, the police marshal reached the spot and after realising police’s presence the burglars tried to flee from there. However, one of the burglars was nabbed by police team in the incident. A case in this regard is being registered at Wakad police station and police are investigating further in it.
