Pune: Woman Detained For Creating Nuisance Bites Cop At Police Station, Booked
Ravet 5th July 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad police have booked a 26-year-old woman for allegedly abusing and biting a woman police constable after she was detained for creating nuisance at the public place. The incident took place on Sunday in the Kiwale area.
According to reports, the police control room of Pimpri Chinchwad received a call from a resident to inform that a couple is creating nuisance in the area. The police team reached the given location and the woman and her husband were brough to the Ravet Police Station.
The woman after reaching the police station started abusing the police personnel before biting a woman constable. A case under sections 353 and 333 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at Ravet Police Station. Police are investigating further in the matter.
