Seven Dead And Twenty Eight Injured In Major Accident On Dhule-Mumbai Highway
Dhule 4th July 2023: At least seven people have lost their lives while twenty eight others have been injured in a major accident reported in Dhule district. The incident took place on National Highway 3 (Agra-Mumbai Highway) near Shirpur in Dhule district at around 11 am on Tuesday.
According to police, the accident occured due to break fail following which a container hit multiple vehicles including cars and two wheelers on the highway leading to a major accident. Seven people have lost their lives, 15 injured have been admitted to Dhule Civil Hospital while 13 have been admitted to Shirpur Civil Hospital, said police.
The traffic movement on the highway leading towards Mumbai from Indore has been diverted following the accident.
