Pune: Flight Passenger’s Baggage Damaged, Airline Fails to Provide Assistance

Pune, 3rd July 2023: Abhishek, a passenger who flew from Lucknow to Pune via Ahmedabad on May 20th, is distraught after his check-in baggage was discovered in a completely damaged state upon arrival at Pune Airport. The luggage, consisting of a brand new trolley and his daughter’s first trolley, was shattered beyond repair. Despite filing a complaint at the airport, Abhishek claims to have received no substantial support or updates from the concerned authorities for the past two months.

Expressing his frustration, Abhishek took to Twitter to share his ordeal. He posted about his flight experience, the broken baggage, and the lack of response from the airline. In his tweet, he mentioned the flight number as 6968//6335, the PNR as IMVYXV, and provided a complaint number, 6055759. Abhishek stated that despite filling out a form and being assured of a callback within four hours, he had not received any communication even after 72 hours.

Passengers rely on airlines to ensure the safety and security of their belongings during travel.
