Azad Hind Express Reaches Pune Railway Station After 24 Hours Of Arrival Schedule

Pune 1st July 2023: Azad Hind Express, the train known for reaching late at the Pune railway station almost every day delayed by over 24 hours on Thursday causing major inconvenience to the passengers travelling in it. The authorities have blamed ongoing work for the frequent delay while passengers claim this has become a routine problem of this train.

Howrah-Pune Azad Hind Express which was scheduled to leave from Howrah for Pune at 10:10 pm on June 26 delayed by over 20 hours and departed at 7 pm on June 27. This further delayed the schedule of the train towards Pune as it was scheduled to arrive at Pune Railway Station at 7:20 am on June 28 but it arrived at 7:32 am on June 29.

According to railway officials, ongoing work in the Bilaspur division of railways caused the delay. However, the previous records show that the Azad Hind Express was observed running behind the scheduled most of the times in the last few months.
