Pune: Electrocution Accident Claims School Boy’s Life In Shivne Area
Shivne, 28th June 2023: A devastating incident involving the death of a school boy due to electrocution after coming into contact with an electrified fence has occurred in the Shivne area, located on NDA road, Pune.
The victim has been identified as 16-year-old Shubham Balu Ingole, a resident of Dhone Heights near Shinde Bridge in Shivane. Shubham was a tenth-class student at Navbharat High School in the Shivane area. Around 11 am, he was on his way to meet a friend through a small lane in the Deshmukhwadi area of Shivne when he inadvertently made contact with an iron mesh fence that was carrying an electric current.
Tragically, upon touching the fence, Shubham suffered a severe electric shock, causing him to collapse. Concerned citizens immediately rushed him to the hospital, but despite their efforts, he passed away before receiving medical treatment.
Uttamnagar police station has registered a case of accidental death in relation to this incident. Both the police and Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) officials visited the spot of the accident and conducted a thorough inspection.
