This encompasses aspects such as solid waste management, water supply and drainage management, taxation and tax collection, as well as electricity and road construction. In order to promptly address the varied challenges experienced by housing societies, an action plan will be devised to facilitate effective coordination among different municipal departments. Complaints have been lodged regarding contractors and builders creating artificial water scarcity, with allegations of involvement from municipal officials. Consequently, the municipal administration will discontinue the practice of contracting in water supply planning. Instead, a unified water supply policy will be adopted at the administrative level to alleviate water-related issues for citizens in specific areas. Mahesh Landge, MLA Bhosari, emphasized the importance of this measure in ensuring that residents are not subjected to water problems.
